Very true! There are many brands selling sustainable clothes. Our Sustainability Quotient (SQ) is what makes us stand out in the crowd. It spans the entire cycle right from sourcing of raw material to the finished product and post-purchase.
Most of our fabrics are produced from yarns made from the by-products of fruits which, if not utilized, would end up in the landfills. Our plant-based fabrics are grown with very little water thereby reducing the demand for an already scarce resource.
Further, we have consciously decided not to jump into production without orders. This means we have no ready-made garments with us, which, if unsold, will go waste.
Our designs are simple, comfortable and smart that can be worn with different accessories to get a formal, casual or festive look. You would look unique even if you repeat your dress every week and this is the ‘anokha bandhan’! If well cared for, the products will last long, thereby protecting you from the harms of fast fashion.
To counter whatever load we are putting on Mother Earth despite our efforts, we promote tree plantations to mark the important achievements of Anokha Bandhan.
No, we do not have a provision for gift cards but you can select the item to be gifted, enter the address and we will make sure that it reaches your loved one.
We are available on phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email. Please go to the ‘Contact us’ tab for more details.
When you click on the ‘customise’ tab, you will reach a page where you can either choose your measurements from a drop down menu or can measure yourself and add the information in ‘others’ tab. The sketch on the page guides you on how to take various measurements.
Besides being eco-friendly, Anokha Bandhan clothing is all about style and comfort for women. Most of our styles are a slight loose fit and hence do not require alterations. We, therefore, do not have margins for size alterations. However, if you have any doubts regarding the correct size to purchase, please contact us for help before placing the order.
We recommend dry-clean only for most of our fabrics. Some fabrics such as organic cotton, upcycled cotton, hemp and linen require a first two time dry clean. Thereafter they can be washed in cold water with mild detergents. Please see the wash care instructions in all garments.
Yes, but make sure that the iron is only mildly hot. Cellulose fabrics like orange, banana, aloe vera, soybean and sugar cane have heat-sensitive fibres. Therefore, hot iron might de-shape the dress. It is strongly recommended for dry cleaning only. Please refer to the wash care label on your dress for further information.
