The earth is warming up because of greenhouse gases that do not allow the Sun’s rays which penetrate the atmosphere, to reflect back into space. The blanket of greenhouse gases traps this heat leading to increased temperatures.

We are responsible for the emission of greenhouse gases such carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, water vapor, methane, and nitrous oxide which result from burning the fossils. We depend on fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. And As the human population increases demand for fossil fuels also increases.
